punk is dead? possibly.

http://nymag.com/guides/summer/2008/48006/

I'm just glad when I was a kid, st marks was still punk.

But I wasn't a squatter like the article describes. I always felt out of place at C-Squat Leftover crack shows.

I guess we've all moved on. Sam and I live for indie and Peter loves wiley and Dizzee Rascal.

Well wait. we all like dizzee rascal.

I'll go see my old favorite punk bands every now and then. But It's not the same. I believe there is a time and place for everything.

I can't get over the H2o video, what happened- thinking the same thing the video portrays.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvlP0QfJcjc&feature=related

the scary thing is everywhere h20 is in that video, I know where it is in the city.

Jean's guide to What happened- Be like h20! (lol)
The record store they are in: Generation 210 Thomspon
Where all of h20 is sitting on a stool- 99x 84 East 10th Street.
Knitting Factory: Great venue. 74 Leonard Street. (tribeca represent bitch)
The empty building they all stare at 313 bowery, the old site of CBGB..
Joe Strummer Mural (where matt skiba is) - 7th street and avenue A, near niagra and tompkins sq park

Oh cbgb, how i miss you so. Damn you, john varvatos. damn you to hell.

I don't live for indie, I live for Rich Boy's "Throw some D's" and Weezer's Pork & Beans.

"Ima do the things that I wanna do
I ain't got a thing to prove to you
I'll eat my candy with the pork and beans
Excuse my manners if i make a scene
I ain't gonna wear the clothes that you like
I'm finally dandy with the me inside
One look in the mirror and I'm tickled pink
I don't give a hoot about what you think"

Told my mother about that $750 shirt, she was equally astounded. I'm sorry Jean but I still don't believe it! Take a picture of the price tag, if your there again.

Dizzee has gone down the road of being shit.

He is making rubbishy dancey urban songs.

He's not staying true to his grime roots

Fuck Grime, Dylan Mills can make whatever music he wants.
