It's mad when you think that in the 1910's 400,000 British people died and worldwide an estimated 48 million died as a consequence of WW1.

That's nuts.

That is unthinkable nowadays. I know people say that numbers don't really matter but this level of death and destruction is beyond reason.

I don't really know where I'm going with this one. Just shit... A lot of people died for, sorry to say this, nothing really... Maybe I'm missing the point I don't know.

I saw a pigeon today with only one toe bit. He was a fat little bastard but just sort of hopped about awkwardly. Pigeons must be one of the most widespread animals in the world alongside ants and frogs maybe.
