I concur with Syd. I had always believed that blogging wasn't for me because even thinking about my life bores me so I couldn't see it bringing any reading pleasure to anyone else. Yet here I am.
As this is my first ever blog, I think I'll make it brief and not too deep. I'll save that for when I'm a seasoned pro. Something about blogging scares me though. You hear about these people who get fired or don't get hired because their employer finds some dirt in a blog they wrote once upon a time. You even hear about people being thrown into jail for speaking their minds in less free countries.
This isn't the struggle referred to in the title though. No, that honour belongs to the seemingly endless war with my estate agents and just general life since my return from California. I know CM will probably disagree but I am very much looking forward to living somewhere different from London when my university stint is over. Paris on a recent visit seemed a good option. Also I hear Berlin is a happening place. I think it'd be interesting to live in a few different places before settling down. London to me is too cold in both senses of the word.
I can tell you it's not a myth that Paris has a lot of attractive women. The other CM (Ciaron M) and myself have seen the sights with our own four eyes.
