kids love lies and stuff

I've been listening to them a bit lately, They are really good.

I LOVE HEX 

HEX RULES and so does chimera.

I really enjoyed their show at New cross Inn and even ate a cupcake even though I was totally full from that cheeseburger at the place around the corner. I remember buying sam a burger as well. 

But today I had a discussion with my friend from california. She lives in indio, ca. Nothing happens there except for Coachella once a year. It's basically a hole two hours east of LA and past the 909.

She was talking about last.fm and how she was listening to kids love lies.

I was like how do you know about them?

Wait did I tell you how I saw them at their single release party at new cross?

her: No jeany, they appeared on my scrobble. you went to london? (I guess she found out, um me and my big fat mouth). She asks, So how do you know about kids love lies (since I'm not that indie enough to be in the know of such UK bands, lol)? 

I found out about them though the old fashioned way (through friends) and then i got a lecture on how i have to join last.fm.

Then I thought, wow you can find anything through the internet. 

so now we both love kids love lies, which is pretty neat. 

I told her about sweet tooth and the great ep expanded..

and how awesome the dream cover video is..

and how thats the only way I ever saw Sam's room! and I've been to his house!

she wondered why he had a red hankerchief over his face in the video, I told her sam does strange things like that.

Then I emailed her a picture of what the red hankerchief dude looked like, hahahaha.

 

My friend has even heard of the New Cross Inn, which I thought was a bit odd - since the only way I've heard of it was through sam.

I think the great musicians of Catford and lewisham are going to take over the world..from one last.fm listener to another....
